Forex Training For Free

Teaching People to Trade Profitably in the Forex

We now have a live trading / training room which can be accessed free anywhere in the world with internet access. The Room is FREE to everyone. So please join us Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm central time for our weekly training. You can also join us on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings between 7am and 9am central time every week as we walk through and analyze the markets.

We are using a system called DimDim Pro Version which has been placed upon ProAct's server in Round Rock, Texas. ProAct has installed a number of T1 lines into the server to allow us all to connect without any problems. DimDim is a web based or internet browser based program that requires you to install nothing - ASSUMING you have the latest Adobe Flash player installed with the correctly assigned computer registry entries. When you log into DimDim via the link it will ask you to provide a user name and then it will perform a test to see if your computer passes the test required. If your computer needs an update the appropriate links will be provided.

To join the meetings you can click this link or copy and paste it within your browser window. The link has an underscore ( _ ) between the proact and the4xacademy http://63.151.230.114:80/portal/JoinForm.action?confKey=proact_the4xacademy  This link will be a permanent link, so when it opens right click and either save as a shortcut or save page as "morning trade call link" on your desktop. This will allow you to be able to every morning click on this link, or you can bookmark this page so you can come back to this link within your browser.
Steps to complete to join the call:

  1. When page loads, type in your login name and hit connect or enter.
  2. DimDim will load a page which will check for the necessary files and programs for your computer to see everything and login.
  3. If you get a check mark on all 3 test you are good and the page will load and it will bring you into the room. If however you get X on the flash player see if you can look underneath in the instructions and read a "skip". Try skipping, if you get that message and go into the room and see if it works. If it does not work, no harm in trying and you can proceed to the problem section.
  4. If you would like to join a different mentor, Ron Salter does the Monday and Friday trade call. The room will be located at (again there is an underscore ( _ ) between proact and starforex) http://63.151.230.114:80/portal/JoinForm.action?confKey=proact_starforex

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you in the call.

If you encounter problems:

The problems relate back to the registry and how your computer has registered or will register the flash player, which is necessary for you to "watch" what I do on my computer. Your computer can tell you that it is installed and working correctly and you can even use it, but if it is incorrectly coded inside of your internet browser it won't work. It seems that Mozilla Firefox, an alternative to Internet Explorer (IE), works better or easier and allows for a bypass if there is a problem. I have included a link for you to download and install Firefox.  http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

If you still have problems please see below:

  1. Uninstall the Adobe Flash player inside of the control panel, add/ remove programs
  2. restart computer
  3. start explorer or Firefox and go to adobe and re-download flash player by going here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
  4. install the flash player, following the instructions.
  5. restart computer
  6. go to the instructions for the room located above and try again.
  7. Create a new administrative account within the control panel, under users and try to go back through all of the instructions from the top and see if it works. Remember that it must have administrative rights.
  8. Go to the instructions for the room located above and try again.
  9. If these instructions do not help or solve the problem continue below.

Additional resources:

I have included links for several things which you can try if all else fails and you cannot log into the room. However, I will point out that if you have gotten this far and it still has not worked and you have not installed Mozilla Firefox go do that first. And remember the skip option, I tried this on 2 computers and it worked just fine for me so I did not have to go through the other fixes.

  1. Read the adobe support page for flash, please read all the way down it has several options to help and settings changes that might solve the problems http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_19166&sliceId=2
  2. Read and follow this fix page only if you have tried everything else. http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=fb1634cb&sliceId=1
